BREAKING: Notre Dame Defender Sparks Controversy after Louisville Receiver Spit In His Face During last clash
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish faced off against the Louisville Cardinals on Saturday, aiming to improve to 4-1 on the season. The game turned out to be a contentious battle in South Bend.
Irish defensive back Jordan Clark drew attention when he was flagged for unnecessary roughness after headbutting an opponent. On Sunday, he explained his side of the story.
Clark spent much of the game matched up against Cardinals wide receiver Chris Bell. During the contest, he appeared to take a cheap shot at Bell, which led to the penalty.
Clark has now accused Bell of a serious offense—spitting on him. He claimed his actions were in response to that.
Unfortunately for Clark, he was the one penalized—always a lesson not to be the second person in a confrontation.
The headbutt resulted in a 15-yard penalty, granting Louisville a first down. However, they were unable to capitalize on the drive and ended up punting back to Notre Dame.
Fortunately for Clark, the penalty didn’t cost his team, as they secured a seven-point victory.
If you were brought up to let someone spit in your face, and not do anything I get it. Not me though, be easy😂😂 https://t.co/nap7moGM7Z

As of now, Chris Bell hasn’t publicly denied the accusation, which remains serious. If the incident occurred as Clark described, it may offer some understanding of his reaction on the field.
