Chambers High School (N.C.) wide receiver Arrion Concepcion, a three-star senior and younger brother of NC State standout KC Concepcion, has decommitted from the Wolfpack, according to a report from On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Sunday evening. KC Concepcion, a sophomore wide receiver, is the reigning ACC Rookie of the Year.

Arrion, standing 5-foot-9 and weighing 175 pounds, had been committed to NC State since June. He is ranked No. 1,462 overall, No. 200 among wide receivers, and No. 33 in North Carolina in the 247Sports 2025 Composite rankings.

It is unclear where Concepcion will ultimately choose to play, but before committing to head coach Dave Doeren and the Wolfpack, he held offers from several schools, including Appalachian State, Campbell, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Liberty, Marshall, Miami, Troy, and Virginia Tech.

His decision drops NC State’s 2025 recruiting class to No. 45 nationally, per the 247Sports Composite rankings, while the team remains at No. 10 in the ACC. The Wolfpack class currently trails Florida State (No. 9), Stanford (No. 8), and Syracuse (No. 6), with Miami leading the conference.

With Concepcion’s departure, Forest Hills High School (N.C.) athlete Jerel Bolder, a composite four-star recruit, is now the sole wide receiver in NC State’s 18-player 2025 recruiting class.
