JUST NOW: Brittany Mahomes Sends 2-Word Message to Bills QB’s Wife
The Kansas City Chiefs’ face-off with the Buffalo Bills was undoubtedly the most anticipated game of Week 11.
With the Bills riding a five-game winning streak and the Chiefs coming in undefeated at 9-0, the matchup was prime for television. Amidst this intense rivalry, Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes expressed deep respect for his counterpart, Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
“You’re playing the best – I mean, the best of the best,” Mahomes said of Allen. “That’s what you want in this league, and I’ve had the chance to face Josh many times. Every single game, it seems to go down to the wire.”
Mahomes added, “He’s a competitor with real fire, and you can see that intensity spread through his whole team. We know we’ll need our best football.”
For the big game, Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, traveled to Highmark Stadium, where she met with Paige Buechele, wife of Bills quarterback Shane Buechele. In a friendly but bold move for the rivalry setting, the two women watched the game together from the Chiefs suite.
“My girllllll 🥹🤍,” Brittany wrote alongside a selfie with Paige on her Instagram Stories. Paige reposted it, adding, “reunited 🥹🥹🥹.”
Shane Buechele previously served as Mahomes’ backup before joining the Bills in 2023, during which time Brittany and Paige formed a close friendship. Last month, Paige announced her pregnancy on social media, and Brittany, herself expecting her third child, was among the first to comment, writing, “My peeps are gonna be parents, I can’t take it 🥹🥹🥹 so so so happy for you guys!!!🤍🙏🏻.”
