The Georgia Bulldogs have consistently been a powerhouse in recruiting since Kirby Smart took over in December 2015. Under his leadership, they’ve never been ranked lower than the top-3 in the consensus recruiting rankings and have secured the No. 1 class three times. If current trends hold, they are on track for a fourth No. 1 class in 2025.

The recent commitment of EDGE rusher Chase Linton has pushed Georgia to the top spot on 247Sports.com with a total of 26 commits. But this isn’t the end for the Bulldogs—they’re not done yet.

With National Signing Day approaching, here are the key names to watch as Georgia looks to further strengthen their already loaded class.

Justus Terry, DL

Justus Terry, Manchester, Defensive Line

Terry is undoubtedly the best uncommitted football player in America. The young defensive line prospect from Manchester, Georgia had previously committed to USC. Georgia was the first school to offer Terry, and defensive line coach Tray Scott has done an excellent job with him since day one.

Hayward is presently committed to the Tennessee Volunteers. Despite this, the Bulldogs continue to pursue the in-state prospect from Toombs County, Georgia. Hayward, despite being a home-state kid, has a strong connection to Tennessee. They were his first Division I offer during a process that did not include SEC offers until the fall of his junior year.

Christian Gass, LB

Uzochukwu is a 6’5, 285-pound offensive lineman from Peachtree Ridge High School in Georgia. The young kid is already committed to Georgia State. However, with a recent offer from Georgia that sources have stated is committable, things are likely to change as signing day approaches.

Jeremiah McCloud, DL

Jeramiah McCloud, Lee County, Defensive Line

McCloud is now committed to the University of Florida. However, the Lee County High School football player is presently teammates with Georgia commit Ousmane Kromah and has expressed a strong interest in Georgia. As we approach the finish line, keep an eye on him.

As National Signing Day nears, the Georgia Bulldogs are poised to add several key players to their 2025 recruiting class.
