It happened to Auburn on Tuesday night, when three-star offensive line prospect Spencer Dowland decommitted. He announced the news in a tweet on X (previously Twitter), praising Hugh Freeze and the Auburn coaching staff.

Dowland, a 6-foot-6, 290-pound offensive tackle, has offers from Arkansas, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee, and Florida State, among other schools. He visited Ole Miss on October 27, according to a post on his X account. According to the 247Sports composite rankings, he is the 909th overall recruit in the US and the 34th in Alabama.
