JUST NOW: Tom Brady Takes a Savage Shot at Bills Fans While Revealing His Favorite Stadium to Dominate In
Buffalo Bills fans were ecstatic when Tom Brady finally left the AFC East after 20 years of tormenting the entire division. Even though Brady is no longer in the division and now works in the broadcast booth, he continues to irritate Bills supporters.
Brady was questioned by NFL on FOX’s YouTube channel about his favourite stadium to play in during his 23-year NFL career. Since this is being written about on a Bills website, you can probably assume that he chose the Bills’ stadium.
Tom Brady says he loved playing in the Bills’ stadium during his career
Tom Brady explained that one of the reasons he enjoyed playing in Buffalo was the convenience of the short flight from New England during his time with the Patriots.
“I’d say Buffalo, and for a few reasons. First, it was a really quick trip. When I played for the Patriots, getting there and back was easy, and I appreciated that,” Brady shared.
It makes sense—nobody enjoys long flights, and for NFL players who travel constantly, a quick trip can be a welcome change. But that was just the beginning of his list of reasons. So, what else made Highmark Stadium stand out for Brady?
Tom Brady didn’t hold back when explaining why Buffalo’s Highmark Stadium was one of his favorite places to play. After citing the short flight from New England as a convenient perk, Brady gave a nod to Bills Mafia with his second reason.
“They have incredible fans in Buffalo,” Brady said. “Every time you’d drive into the stadium, it felt like the craziest environment from 9 a.m. on. Those fans know how to get it rocking. That stadium was always crazy.”
Even though Bills fans couldn’t stand him during his time dominating the AFC East, many would agree there was something special about watching one of the all-time greats take the field in Buffalo—despite him consistently clobbering their team.
And for his third reason? Brady didn’t sugarcoat it.
“We had a lot of success there,” he admitted. “The games were tough, it was football weather—rainy, wet, windy, cold—and they always meant something. But we found a way to overcome it.”
With a stunning 16-2 road record against Buffalo, along with 38 touchdown passes, it’s no wonder Brady looks back fondly on playing there. For Bills fans, as much as they might hate it, his reasons make perfect sense.
