BREAKING: Former Beavers receiver confirms his return to Oregon for 2025 season
Oregon State wide receiver Trent Walker has announced his return to Corvallis for his senior season, ensuring the Beavers retain one of their standout players from this year.
In a social media post on Monday, Walker declared, “Let’s run it back Beaver Nation.” Sources confirmed to The Oregonian/OregonLive that Walker recently had productive discussions about NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) opportunities with Oregon State’s collective, Dam Nation.
A Beaverton High School graduate, Walker just wrapped up one of the most impressive receiving seasons in OSU history. His 81 catches tied him for seventh all-time in single-season receptions at Oregon State, alongside James Newson (2003). He totaled 901 receiving yards, marking the program’s highest single-season total since Isaiah Hodgins’ 1,171 yards in 2019. Walker’s 81 receptions also ranked 10th nationally among FBS receivers this season.
Standing 6-foot-2 and weighing 195 pounds, Walker joined OSU in 2021 as a walk-on. He initially made his mark on special teams before emerging as a reliable backup receiver in 2023. In 2024, he became the Beavers’ leading pass-catcher, recording seven or more receptions in seven games and reaching double digits twice, with 12 catches against Washington State and 11 versus San Jose State.
Walker’s decision to return sets the stage for another strong campaign as Oregon State looks to build on this year’s success.
