Shocking Move: Colorado Football’s Star Player Exits, Setting Sights on a New Program
Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes have announced their upcoming bowl game, where they will face the BYU Cougars in the Alamo Bowl. The Buffaloes had a strong 2024 season, finishing with a 9-3 record and 7-2 in Big 12 play, marking their best performance since 2001. However, the team faced a setback when wide receiver Jordan Onovughe declared his intention to enter the transfer portal after one season with Colorado.
Jordan Onovughe announced on social media that he is entering the transfer portal, captioning the post with “God’s Plan.” After playing in just one game for Colorado in 2024, where he recorded one reception in a win over Arizona, Onovughe, a three-star recruit, is seeking a new opportunity. He initially committed to the Buffaloes in November 2022. As Onovughe searches for a new home, the Buffaloes are preparing for their Alamo Bowl matchup against BYU on December 28 in San Antonio.
