Clemson quarterback has announced that he will return to the Tigers for the 2025 season, utilizing his final year of eligibility.
On Monday night, he shared his decision on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “The story isn’t over. See y’all in 2025.”
In his second season as a full-time starter in 2024, he showcased significant growth, throwing for 3,639 yards (seventh-most in Clemson history), 36 touchdowns (tied for second-most), and just six interceptions. He also contributed 463 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on the ground. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound quarterback’s performance was instrumental in Clemson’s return to prominence, leading the team to its first ACC championship since 2022, where he earned MVP honors for the second time.
