The Indianapolis Colts have activated second-year cornerback JuJu Brents off injured reserve, marking a significant step in his recovery from multiple injuries, including a knee issue with a damaged meniscus and PCL. Brents, selected in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft (44th overall), brings ideal size (6’3″, 198 pounds) and athleticism to the outside cornerback position. However, due to injuries, his appearances have been limited, with just one start in Week 1 of the 2024 season, where he recorded 7 tackles (3 solo). His return will likely see him on a pitch count in the season finale against the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he’s expected to contribute as a rotational cornerback.
