One of the top offensive line prospects in the 2026 class, is planning to visit Florida State this offseason as part of his recruitment process.

Brown is widely regarded as one of the most highly sought-after rising seniors in the nation. Known for his powerful play and impressive athleticism for an offensive lineman, he is a game-changer on the field. As part of his recruitment, Brown will take visits to several top schools, including Florida State, Miami, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Oregon, and Alabama. While the exact dates of these visits have not been confirmed, Florida State is expected to be one of his stops.

A key factor in Florida State’s favor is Brown’s existing relationship with offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn and offensive line coach Herb Hand, who both played pivotal roles in his recruitment. He visited UCF in September and June, having received an offer from the Knights in January, which could give the Seminoles an advantage.

Brown, a right tackle for University Lab in Baton Rouge, is expected to transition to the interior offensive line at the college level. His exceptional play earned him a spot on the MaxPreps High School Football Junior All-America second-team, in addition to first-team honors as a sophomore and second-team honors as a freshman.

In addition to football, the Louisiana native competes in track and field, where he was the state 3A shot put champion as a sophomore and placed fourth in the discus at regionals.

Standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 275 pounds, Brown is ranked as the No. 8 overall prospect, the No. 1 interior offensive lineman (IOL), and the No. 1 recruit in Louisiana for the 2026 class, according to 247Sports.

Florida State currently holds six verbal commitments for the 2026 class, which is ranked No. 7 nationally, including a pledge from three-star offensive lineman Xavier Payne. FSU hired Malzahn and Hand to join head coach Mike Norvell’s staff in December, which could further strengthen their position in recruiting Brown.
