RELEASE: Oilers issue statement regarding Evander Kane
The Edmonton Oilers have provided an update on forward Evander Kane following his recent knee surgery. Kane underwent a successful procedure on Thursday in Edmonton and is expected to require a recovery period of four to eight weeks.
This operation is unrelated to the abdominal surgery he underwent in September, but it will temporarily delay his ongoing rehabilitation. Kane’s recovery will continue under the supervision of the Oilers’ medical staff in Edmonton.
