BREAING: Brian Kelly reportedly parts ways with Another recruiting staffer

LSU has parted ways with Nick Brossette, who served as director of alumni relations and high school outreach for the past three seasons, according to a WAFB-TV report on Thursday.

Brossette, 28, joined Brian Kelly’s staff in April 2022 and brought a deep connection to the program. A Baton Rouge native and former LSU running back from 2015-2018, Brossette rushed for 1,039 yards and 14 touchdowns during his standout senior season.

The report indicates Brossette was “blindsided” by his dismissal and that no specific incident led to the decision.

“It has been a dream of mine to come back and work where it all started,” Brossette said when he took on the role at his alma mater in 2022.

In his position, Brossette built relationships with former LSU football players, served as a liaison to high school coaches, and oversaw the annual LSU Coaches Clinic. Despite his efforts, LSU opted to move in a different direction.
