REPORT: Irish Illustrated hires veteran reporter, scout Bryan Ault as its new recruiting analyst
Irish Illustrated is thrilled to announce an exciting new addition to its team that Fighting Irish fans will want to know about. To elevate their recruiting coverage even further, Irish Illustrated has brought on veteran writer and scout Bryan Ault as their new Recruiting Analyst.
With 15 years of experience in writing, reporting, and scouting, Bryan brings a wealth of knowledge to the role. He has served as the Midwest Scouting Director for Catapult and National Preps, as well as holding recruiting and player personnel positions at Ball State and Franklin College. A passionate supporter of Indiana high school football, Bryan has strong relationships with coaches across the state and the Midwest, making him a valuable addition to an already impressive Irish Illustrated team. He will be actively involved in the Four Horsemen Lounge, delivering detailed analysis, conducting interviews with high school prospects, sharing recruiting insights, and contributing to team coverage.
What sets Bryan apart is his unmatched work ethic. This demanding role aligns perfectly with his passion for travel and connecting with players and coaches on the recruiting trail. He’s committed to providing in-depth coverage of Notre Dame’s top targets in upcoming recruiting classes.
“I’m really excited to join the Irish Illustrated team and engage with Notre Dame fans by delivering the analysis and recruiting coverage they deserve,” said Ault. “It’s a thrill to cover one of college football’s top programs, especially after such a successful 2024 season and an even brighter outlook for the future.
“I’m also honored to join the 247Sports family, known for setting the standard in high school football recruiting coverage,” he continued. “I’m incredibly grateful to national analyst Tom Loy for his support and guidance, as well as to Tim Prister for this amazing opportunity. I look forward to working with the highly respected team at Irish Illustrated.”
Bryan’s first day is Saturday, and he’s already preparing content for Notre Dame fans. He’ll kick things off by covering Junior Day this weekend, with plenty of insightful coverage to follow in the coming weeks.
