BREAKING: Oregon State football officially signs 5 Star QB
Oregon State football fans had some uncertainty in December when quarterback Tristan Ti’a didn’t officially commit during the early signing period. However, head coach Trent Bray reassured that there was no issue—Ti’a simply wanted to sign alongside his teammates in February.
That’s exactly what happened on Wednesday, as Ti’a finalized his paperwork and officially joined Oregon State’s 2024 recruiting class.
Ti’a, a four-star recruit per 247Sports and a three-star prospect according to Rivals, had an impressive senior season at Amador Valley High in Pleasanton, California, throwing for 3,452 yards, 29 touchdowns, and just four interceptions.
Another late addition to the class is three-star tight end T’Andre Waverly. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound prospect from Kamiak High in Mukilteo, Washington, participated in the 2025 Navy All-American Bowl on Jan. 11 in San Antonio.
Ti’a and Waverly join the 17 high school recruits who signed during the early period, along with junior college transfer Jalil Tucker.
