BREAKING: Reds confirms major announce involving Pete Rose
The Cincinnati Reds will pay tribute to the late Pete Rose by wearing a No. 14 patch on their jerseys this season.
As pitchers and catchers arrived for Spring Training on Monday, the team shared a photo of the patch on X.
Rose was inducted into the Reds Hall of Fame in 2016, the same year his No. 14 was retired. His statue outside Great American Ball Park was unveiled in 2017.
