Fever Bolster Frontcourt Signing Former Sky Player in WNBA Free Agency
The Indiana Fever continue to bolster their roster, adding Brianna Turner in free agency for the 2025 season.
Turner, a two-time All-WNBA Defensive First Team selection, is the latest veteran to join a Fever squad that has already made major offseason moves, including re-signing Kelsey Mitchell and adding DeWanna Bonner, Natasha Howard, and Sydney Colson.
While Turner’s 2024 stats with the Chicago Sky were modest—1.2 points and 2 rebounds in 9.4 minutes per game—her defensive prowess remains a key asset. The Fever, looking to build a championship-caliber team, could benefit from her presence as a defensive anchor off the bench.

With Aliyah Boston, NaLyssa Smith, and now Turner in the frontcourt, Indiana is assembling a strong defensive core. If Turner can carve out a role in the rotation, she could be a valuable depth piece as the Fever aim for a deep playoff push in 2025.
