Michigan football’s offseason has been a hot topic since the Wolverines capped their 2024 season with a 19-13 win over Alabama on Dec. 31. The team moved on from part-time starting quarterback Jack Tuttle, who announced his retirement in late October, by adding Fresno State transfer quarterback Mikey Keene and securing 2025 five-star recruit Bryce Underwood from Belleville, Michigan.

On Monday, Tuttle made headlines again, this time for a personal milestone. He shared on Instagram that he is engaged, posting, “A lifetime of us. Future Mr. & Mrs. Tuttle,” alongside a white heart graphic. His announcement drew reactions from former Michigan teammates, including Minnesota Vikings quarterback JJ McCarthy, who commented, “LFG beb!” UNLV transfer Alex Orji added, “I could shed a tear,” while Wolverines pass rusher Josaiah Stewart wrote, “Official unc status.”

Tuttle, a San Marcos, California native, spent four seasons at Indiana before transferring to Michigan for his final two years. Injuries hampered his 2024 campaign, during which he passed for 306 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions under head coach Sherrone Moore.
