BREAKING: Notre Dame Receive Big News Involving Top CB
After narrowing his choices to a Top 10 last month, Khary Adams has now scheduled six official visits.
“It’s pretty solid,” the 2026 Maryland cornerback told ISD. “I’ve got some great schools in my top group, so that’s a good thing.”
Adams has visits set for Auburn (May 16), South Carolina (May 30), USC (June 3), Penn State (June 6), Notre Dame (June 13), and Oregon (June 20).
“These visits will help a lot,” he said. “Spending more time on campus and being around the players will give me a better feel for making my decision.”
Each school earned a spot on his list for different reasons.
“I know a lot of people going to Auburn,” Adams explained. “They speak highly of the coaches and the atmosphere—it’s a great place to be.”
South Carolina has been a strong contender from the start.
“They’ve shown love from day one,” he said. “I’m planning to visit for either spring or Junior Day. The coaches really support me, and I like the environment.”
Penn State has also made a strong impression, as Adams has already visited multiple times.
“I really like the school and the coaches,” he said. “There’s a great culture up there, so spending more time around the program is important. It’s definitely one of my top schools.”

Notre Dame has also caught his attention, thanks to its coaching staff and strong academic reputation.
“What Coach Freeman is doing there is impressive,” Adams said. “He’s turning the program around, and the coaches show great support. It’s a great program overall, and the academics are top-tier.”

At this point, Adams isn’t looking for answers about Notre Dame—he just wants to experience more of the program firsthand.
“I already know a lot about them,” he said. “It’s more about getting around the players and the culture to see what it’s really like.”
Oregon and USC have also shown strong interest, and he’s looking forward to his visits out West.
However, Adams hasn’t completely ruled out other options.
“I wouldn’t call this my final six,” he said. “Things could change, but it’s pretty close. I just can’t make any guarantees yet.”
He plans to make his final decision this summer, focusing on key factors.
“How they plan to use me in the defense, early playing time, and which school feels like home,” he said.
“I think I’m really versatile, so I’d love to play in a system that lets me line up in multiple positions or use my skills in different schemes.”
