The Buffalo Bills fell short once again last season, losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship. Despite making the playoffs six times during the Josh Allen era, they have yet to reach the Super Bowl. As the offseason unfolds, teams are adjusting their rosters and coaching staffs in preparation for the 2025 NFL season, while some players are deciding on their futures.

On Thursday, center Mitch Morse announced his retirement from football. He played 10 seasons in the NFL, beginning with four years in Kansas City, followed by five with Buffalo, and concluding with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Following his retirement announcement, the Bills shared a tribute on social media, writing, “Congrats to Mitch Morse on a great career. Wishing you all the best in your next chapter! #BillsMafia.”

The 6-foot-6, 305-pound lineman had his best season in 2022 when he earned a spot in the AFC Pro Bowl after starting 13 games for Buffalo. Morse, a second-round pick (49th overall) in the 2015 NFL Draft, was born in Austin, Texas, and played college football at Missouri. Over his career, he appeared in 143 games, leaving a lasting impact in the league.
