Dion Dawkins, Buffalo Bills offensive tackle and one of the biggest supporters of quarterback Josh Allen’s relationship with Hailee Steinfeld, has praised the positive impact the Oscar-nominated actress has had on Allen. Dawkins, who signed a three-year, $60 million extension with the Bills last offseason, noticed a remarkable change in his QB1 after Allen proposed to Steinfeld during the bye week. In his first game back, Allen completed 13-of-17 passes for 148 yards and two touchdowns, along with three rushes for 18 yards and another touchdown. Dawkins noted, “There’s love in the air, man!” after the Bills beat the San Francisco 49ers to secure their fifth straight AFC East title.

Dawkins added, “It’s a beautiful thing. But it is drastically different. I’m a jokester… but we all stem from him. When he is fully right and complete, we have the best shot of winning.” He went on to describe how Allen’s demeanor has shifted: “You can see how he smiles, how he is in interviews… You can literally feel it in how he plays.” During a March 7 appearance on “Good Morning Football,” when asked by Kyle Brandt if he planned to attend any weddings this offseason, Dawkins jokingly danced and laughed before revealing, “Josh Allen is one of those guys, and he sealed that deal. And soon to come. May 31. It’s happening.”
This date aligns with a March 6 report from US Magazine, which revealed that Allen and Steinfeld are planning a wedding soon. A source mentioned, “They don’t want a long engagement, and the wedding planning is already underway. They are currently location scouting and figuring out the logistics. It will be a very intimate but extravagant event.” Given that Allen and Steinfeld have kept their relationship largely private, some fans were surprised by Dawkins’ disclosure of such details.
