Engram spent three seasons with the Jaguars before hitting free agency. He was a reliable target in his first two years in Jacksonville, but the 2024 season was challenging, as he missed eight games due to a season-ending torn labrum. He finished the year with 47 receptions, 385 yards, and one touchdown. Following his release, Engram shared a farewell message with Jaguars fans.

Now in Denver, Engram has a chance to rebound from his injury and contribute as a key receiving option in Sean Payton’s offense. Tight end was not a strong position for the Broncos last season, with the team relying more on wide receivers and the ground game. Engram’s arrival could help diversify the offense, providing rookie quarterback Bo Nix with another reliable weapon.
