BREAKING: Josh Allen Reacts Bitterly To Bills’ Free Agent Departure
The beginning of the 2025 offseason has been quite a ride for the Buffalo Bills and many of their key players. Several members of the team’s young core have received contract extensions, while important free agents have been signed. However, some fan favorites have moved on to bigger paydays. This week, the Bills said farewell to beloved wide receiver Mack Hollins, and not everyone on the roster is pleased about it.
Hollins, a former mid-round draft pick, signed a two-year contract worth nearly $9 million with the New England Patriots.

Quarterback and league MVP Josh Allen expressed his disappointment. “Super sad to see Mack go,” Allen said Wednesday. “I know he was a fan favorite and a favorite in the locker room. I’m happy for him and what he got, but it sucks that he’s now a division rival. It’s just part of the game.” Hollins spent only one season with the Bills, playing in every game and recording 31 catches for 378 yards and five touchdowns.

“Super sad to see Mack go,” Allen said Wednesday. “I know he was kind of a fan favorite as well as a favorite in the locker room. I’m very happy for him and what he got.
Hollins’ departure seemed inevitable after the Bills signed Joshua Palmer to a free agent deal. Palmer will join Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir as the starting trio for Buffalo’s passing game in 2025. Although Hollins found a place where he can make an immediate impact, the fact that it’s with a division rival is something Allen isn’t too happy about.
