BREAKING: Stefon Diggs Sparks Bills Reunion Rumors With Cryptic Instagram Move

The Buffalo Bills shocked the NFL by trading Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans last offseason.

To move on from quarterback Josh Allen’s top target, the Bills took on more than $31 million in dead money and a $4 million cap hit. Along with Diggs, Buffalo sent Houston a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 fifth-round pick, receiving a 2025 second-rounder in return.

Diggs’ departure followed years of tension between the two-time All-Pro and the team. On March 30, he reacted to a fan’s tweet suggesting Allen didn’t necessarily need an elite receiver by replying, “You sure?”—he was traded the next day.

The move seemed beneficial for both sides. The Bills secured their fifth straight AFC East title and came within a game of the Super Bowl, while Diggs was on pace for another 1,000-yard season before a season-ending injury cut his Texans stint short after eight games.

Now a free agent after signing a one-year, $22.5 million deal with Houston, Diggs’ future for 2025 remains uncertain—though some fans believe a return to Buffalo is possible.

Stefon Diggs Unhid All His Bills Photos on Instagram

Although Stefon Diggs has a habit of wiping his Instagram clean during the offseason, he did the opposite in March—restoring photos of himself in a Bills uniform. The move quickly stirred up reactions from fans.

Despite previously liking a post calling Bills Mafia “the worst fanbase” after his trade, many fans were open to a reunion. One supporter wrote, “I’d take Diggs back to be WR1 all day,” while another added, “I’d take Diggs back in an instant if he wanted back. He did a ton of good for this team. Sometimes you just have to take some time away to realize how good it really was.”

However, not everyone was on board. One Bills fan pushed back, saying, “I SERIOUSLY do not want him back. Never mind how he left—he’s coming off an ACL tear, and after seeing Tre and Von’s recoveries, we should know he won’t be at 100% this season, if ever, considering his age.” Another simply responded, “Hard pass.”

Stefon Diggs Supported Josh Allen’s MVP Campaign

After Diggs’ departure, Josh Allen had the best season of his seven-year career, earning the AP Most Valuable Player Award. Even before Allen secured the honor, Diggs had nothing but praise for his former quarterback.

During a December 17 appearance on Good Morning Football, Diggs expressed his support for Allen’s MVP campaign. “Somebody had said something to me on Twitter [about Allen winning MVP],” Diggs recalled. “And I was like, ‘He definitely should be winning. He’s been balling. Obviously, it’s no secret that Josh Allen is amazing.’”

Having watched Allen’s performance firsthand, Diggs added, “Seeing him game in, game out, he’s making those plays. It’s not new to me at all… It’s just respect coming full circle. He’s finally getting the credit he deserves.”
