Exclusive: Josh Allen Reveals the Weirdest Autograph He’s Had to Sign — and It Involved a Man’s ‘Neck Down to His Hips’
Josh Allen has signed countless autographs over the years, but one request stands out above the rest.
The 28-year-old Buffalo Bills quarterback participated in Aaron Rodgers’ annual Rx3 charity flag football tournament on March 15, where he shared the memorable fan encounter with PEOPLE.
“I did sign someone,” Allen recalled during the event at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California. “This guy told me he had a tattoo of my number on his back. I expected something small, but it stretched from his neck all the way down to his hips.”
Allen explained that he signed a piece of paper, and the fan later had the signature tattooed just above the number.
Reflecting on unusual autograph requests, Allen also mentioned an amusing story about NBA star Klay Thompson. “Klay said he once signed a toaster,” he noted.

Regarding his upcoming wedding to actress Hailee Steinfeld, 28, Allen assured that participating in the charity event didn’t interfere with their planning.
Allen joined Rodgers, 41, along with fellow NFL quarterbacks Bryce Young, Joe Flacco, and Will Levis, raising funds for organizations like the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
The star quarterback, who recently secured a $330 million contract extension with the Bills, was first linked to Steinfeld in May 2023. They made their relationship Instagram-official in July 2024 and announced their engagement on Nov. 29.
A source close to the couple shared, “They’ve been head over heels from the start,” adding that their families are delighted.
Following Allen’s NFL MVP win in February, Steinfeld celebrated the achievement with an Instagram post that read, “That’s MVP Josh Allen to you! 👑.”
