BREAKING: Bills Re-Signing two-time Super Bowl champ and former game MVP Revealed as ‘Open Door’ Option
When the Buffalo Bills signed Von Miller to a six-year, $120 million contract, the expectation was that the two-time Super Bowl champion and former Super Bowl MVP would be the final piece of a roster poised to win a championship. However, that didn’t come to fruition. After three seasons and only 14 sacks, Miller was released by the Bills to free up cap space. Shortly after, the team signed former Pro Bowler Joey Bosa.

Bills general manager Brandon Beane acknowledged the difficult decision, expressing appreciation for Miller’s contributions. “Tough deal. I love Von, really appreciate what he brought here,” Beane said. “His Year 1 really started off strong, making clutch sacks to help us win games, but then he got injured.

Year 2 didn’t meet expectations. Last year, he showed signs of returning to form.” Despite Miller’s departure, Beane hinted that a reunion isn’t completely off the table, saying, “I had a very good conversation with him before we released him and would never rule out bringing him back, whether it’s now, in the spring, or during the season.” The Bills are currently tight on cap space heading into the offseason and draft, so while Miller could be an option, both sides would need to be creative to make it work.
