Buffalo Bills cornerback has agreed to a four-year, $76 million contract extension, according to his agents, who shared the news with multiple media outlets on Saturday.
The 24-year-old was set to enter the final year of his rookie contract but is now signed through the 2029 season.
Buffalo has been active in securing key players with extensions, including NFL MVP Josh Allen (six years, $330 million), defensive end Greg Rousseau (four years, $80 million), wide receiver Khalil Shakir (four years, $53 million), and linebacker Terrel Bernard (four years, $42 million).
Last season, Benford started all 15 games he played, tallying 64 tackles, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, and a sack.

Since being drafted by the Bills in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, he has accumulated 142 tackles, five interceptions, four forced fumbles, and one sack in 39 career games, including 34 starts.
