BREAKING: Auburn’s Johni Broome Announces New NIL Deal Amid NCAA Tournament
The Auburn Tigers are one of four No. 1 seeds to secure a spot in the Final Four, joining Florida, Duke, and Houston in the NCAA Tournament.
Auburn advanced after defeating Michigan State in the Elite Eight, following previous victories over Michigan, Creighton, and Alabama State.
After the win against the Spartans, Auburn star Johni Broome, a Naismith Player of the Year finalist, announced a new NIL partnership.
Broome has added Raising Cane’s, a popular fast-casual chicken chain, to his growing NIL portfolio.

“Fueled and ready for these final moments with Raising Cane’s,” Broome stated.
Auburn is now set to face Florida in the Final Four, with a chance to advance to the national championship game.
In his third season with Auburn and fifth in college basketball, Broome is averaging 18.7 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game.
He is a Naismith Player of the Year finalist alongside Duke’s Cooper Flagg, Purdue’s Braden Smith, and Florida’s Walter Clayton Jr.
Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl has guided the Tigers to a program-best 32 wins this season.
Pearl is also in contention for the Naismith Coach of the Year award, competing against St. John’s Rick Pitino, Duke’s Jon Scheyer, and Houston’s Kelvin Sampson.
