BREAKING: TCU Reacts to Big Hailey Van Lith Announcement
Hailey Van Lith breathed new life into TCU’s women’s basketball program by guiding the Horned Frogs to an impressive Elite Eight appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
Before falling to top-seeded Texas on Monday, Van Lith led second-seeded TCU to tournament victories over FDU, Louisville, and Notre Dame.

As the Horned Frogs gained national attention, the team’s official social media account shared some major individual honors for Van Lith and fellow standout Sedona Prince.
Van Lith was named a WBCA All-American, while Prince earned honorable mention recognition.
“One more for good measure,” TCU posted, celebrating Van Lith’s latest accolade. She had already been selected to both the Wooden Award and AP All-American teams, making her the first consensus All-American in TCU women’s basketball history.
In her one season with the Horned Frogs, Van Lith averaged 17.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game, leading the team in scoring and assists.
Prior to her final collegiate season at TCU, Van Lith played one year at LSU and three at Louisville. Remarkably, she made the Elite Eight in all five college seasons, including a Final Four run with Louisville in 2022.
