REPORT: Hailee Steinfeld Shares Why the Bills Will Win The 2026 Super Bowl
Hailee Steinfeld is fully confident that her fiancé, Josh Allen, will lead the Buffalo Bills to a Super Bowl title this NFL season. While attending the New York City premiere of her film Sinners on April 3, the 28-year-old actress was asked by an Associated Press reporter why she believes the Bills will take home the championship. “Why do you think? Look who’s leading the team,” she replied, praising Allen’s leadership.
Allen, also 28, had a standout 2024-2025 season, surpassing Russell Wilson for the most regular-season wins by a quarterback in their first seven years. Although the Bills came up just short in the AFC Championship against the Kansas City Chiefs, Steinfeld expressed her admiration in a January interview with E! News: “I’m so proud of him and everything that team has accomplished. He’s the hardest-working person I know.”
In March, Allen secured a $330 million contract with Buffalo, placing him among the NFL’s highest-paid players, alongside Patrick Mahomes, Dak Prescott, and DeShaun Watson. He was also named the league’s MVP at the 2025 NFL Honors, where he and Steinfeld made their red carpet debut as a couple. During his acceptance speech, Allen gave a heartfelt shoutout: “To my fiancée, Hailee — you’ve been my rock, my best friend. I wouldn’t be here without you.”
The pair began dating in 2023 after Allen’s split from Brittany Williams. He proposed in November 2024, sharing the news on Instagram with photos from the romantic moment. In Steinfeld’s Beau Society newsletter, Allen recounted the proposal: “I told you I couldn’t wait to start a family with you… and you said yes. That’s all that mattered.” Steinfeld described the engagement as “the most magical day of my life.”
Recently appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Steinfeld said she’s felt warmly welcomed by the Buffalo community since getting engaged. “It’s such a beautiful place — I absolutely love it.”
