When a Boca Raton couple planned their wedding for the same weekend as the Florida Panthers’ home playoff games, they received a special surprise — a visit from Stanley C. Panther.
The Panthers mascot made an appearance at Cameron and Mariah Floyd’s wedding celebration at Boca Dunes Country Club on Friday.
Cameron, a devoted Florida Panthers fan, shared with WPTV Anchor Mike Trim that his wife, Mariah, had secretly arranged the surprise. He said he had no idea Stanley would be there and was overjoyed when the mascot walked into the party.

Trim verified with the Panthers organization that Mariah Floyd worked closely with the Game Presentation Team and her wedding planner to arrange the surprise appearance.
A video shared on Facebook by wedding guest Reed Booth captured the moment the crowd, thrilled by the mascot’s arrival, broke out into chants of “Let’s go, Panthers!”
