With the excitement of March Madness settling down, Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl just landed a major addition to his roster.
Keyshawn Hall, a transfer from UCF, has decided to withdraw from the NBA Draft and fully commit to Auburn for the 2025-26 season.
The 6-foot-7 guard/forward made a national impact during the 2024-25 season at UCF, averaging 18.8 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. His standout play earned him Second-Team All-Big 12 and Big 12 All-Newcomer honors.
Known for his steady scoring, defensive flexibility, and ability to create plays (2.4 assists per game), Hall became one of the most coveted players in the transfer portal.
His decision to pull out of the draft was first reported by CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein on X.
For Auburn, the timing is ideal. The Tigers wrapped up the 2024-25 season with a 32-6 record, capturing the SEC regular-season title (15-3) and making just their second Final Four appearance under Pearl, before falling to Florida 79-73 in the national semifinals.
Hall brings a versatile skill set—floor-spacing and multi-position defense—that Auburn sorely needs after losing key contributors from last season.
With Johni Broome, Tahaad Pettiford, Chad Baker-Mazara, Miles Kelly, Denver Jones, and Dylan Cardwell all either graduating, transferring, or heading to the NBA, Hall’s commitment marks a pivotal move in Pearl’s efforts to keep Auburn in the national title conversation for 2025-26.
