Four-star safety Donovan Webb, a standout from Frisco Panther Creek High School, recently completed an official visit to TCU that left a strong impression on him and could significantly influence his college decision. Originally scheduled to visit SMU, Webb made a last-minute change to instead visit TCU, a decision that appears to have paid off.
During his time in Fort Worth, Webb had extensive interactions with key members of the TCU coaching staff, including safeties coach Tre Watson and defensive coordinator Andy Avalos. He described the visit as “awesome,” highlighting the valuable time spent with the coaches and the positive energy he felt from the program.

Webb’s recruitment journey has included official visits to Texas Tech and SMU, with upcoming trips planned to Ohio State, Michigan, and Kansas State later this month. Despite these options, his recent experience at TCU has positioned the Horned Frogs as a strong contender in his decision-making process.
While Webb has not yet announced a commitment, the positive experience at TCU has certainly elevated the program’s standing in his eyes. As he continues to evaluate his options, TCU’s strong showing during the official visit could play a pivotal role in his final decision.
