Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane is enthusiastic about quarterback Josh Allen and actress Hailee Steinfeld’s upcoming wedding, expressing his excitement during a May 5 appearance on The Rich Eisen Show. Beane said he’s looking forward to the celebration and jokingly hoped there would be “good booze” at the event.

Now in his seventh year with the Bills, Beane praised how seamlessly Steinfeld has become part of the team’s extended family. “She’s as humble as they come,” he told Eisen, noting her involvement with players’ partners and the positive feedback from his own wife and others. “For all the success she’s had, she’s incredibly down-to-earth.”

Steinfeld, known for roles in Pitch Perfect 2, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, True Grit, and the upcoming Sinners with Michael B. Jordan, earned an Oscar nomination in 2010 for True Grit. Beane credited both her and Allen for staying grounded despite their fame. “It’s a testament to her and to Josh. He’s the exact same way,” he added.

When Eisen joked about keeping Allen’s wedding gift modest given his recent six-year, $330 million contract extension—with $250 million guaranteed—Beane played along, saying, “I’m going to remind my wife of that, don’t overspend,” before laughing that Allen likely wouldn’t notice his gift “with all those zeros he’s got.”

What We Know About Josh Allen, Hailee Steinfeld Wedding

Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld have kept most details about their upcoming wedding private, but a few tidbits have surfaced from insiders and one of Allen’s teammates.

Back in March, Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins let it slip during an appearance on Good Morning Football that the couple plans to wed on May 31. “Josh Allen is one of those guys and he sealed that deal. And soon to come. May 31. It’s happening,” Dawkins said when asked about any upcoming weddings he’d be attending.

Although Allen and Steinfeld have yet to publicly confirm or deny the date, sources close to the couple say the two are aiming for a wedding that’s both intimate and lavish.

“They don’t want a long engagement, and the wedding planning is already underway,” one source shared. “Hailee is very excited about the planning process, and now that Josh is done with the season, she hopes they can spend more time making decisions together.”

Another insider added that due to Allen’s busy NFL schedule, the couple is working with a tight window. “They only have a few timeframes they can have the wedding, so they are nailing down the logistics and are location scouting right now,” the source said, emphasizing that while the event will be private, it will still be quite extravagant.
