Landon Jackson, the Arkansas edge rusher aiming to emulate Maxx Crosby’s high-impact style for the Buffalo Bills in 2025, has officially signed his rookie contract.
The Bills announced the signings of six draft picks on Friday, including third-rounder Jackson. Also inking deals were fifth-round defensive back Jordan Hancock, fifth-round tight end Jackson Hawes, sixth-round cornerback Dorian Strong, sixth-round offensive tackle Chase Lundt, and seventh-round wide receiver Kaden Prawther.

Still unsigned are first-round cornerback Maxwell Hairston, second-round defensive tackle T.J. Sanders, and fourth-round defensive tackle Deone Walker.
Jackson, a towering presence at 6-foot-6 and 280 pounds, stands out not just for his physical gifts but also for his lofty aspirations. He says he patterns his game after Maxx Crosby, a relentless, four-time Pro Bowl edge rusher known for his motor and dominance against both the pass and the run.

“Maxx Crosby is a dog,” Jackson said. “He plays with such intensity. I try to model my game after him — the way he rushes the passer, sets the edge, and brings energy every snap. I think we’re similar in build and play style.”
While it’s a bold comparison, Jackson’s confidence and ambition mark the beginning of what he hopes will be a standout NFL career — one that now officially begins with pen to paper.
