BREAKING: 7-Year NFL Veteran Arrested in Human-Trafficking Sting Operation

Former NFL linebacker Adarius Taylor, who played seven seasons with teams like the Buccaneers, Panthers, and Browns, has been arrested as part of a major human-trafficking sting in Florida called Operation Fool Around and Find Out. The sting led to 255 arrests, including 11 suspected child predators.

Taylor, 34, was charged with felony negligent child abuse and misdemeanor solicitation of prostitution after allegedly leaving his 6-year-old child in a car while attempting to solicit a prostitute. Authorities later placed the child in protective custody.

Sheriff Grady Judd criticized Taylor’s actions, citing concern for the child’s safety. Taylor, who also briefly tried a CFL comeback in 2023, earned over $6.5 million during his NFL career, with a standout season in 2018 for Tampa Bay.

The wide-reaching operation included help from ICE and Homeland Security and resulted in arrests from 13 states and several foreign nationals, underscoring the serious and widespread impact of human trafficking.
