Devin Mockobee, Purdue’s senior running back, recently used a portion of his NIL earnings to support a cause close to his heart. He donated $10,000 to Pioneer Junior Football and Cheer — the youth football organization in his hometown of Boonville that helped ignite his passion for the game.

“Big thanks to Pioneer great (Devin Mockobee) for his generous donation to our youth program and time spent with current and future players today,” Boonville football shared on social media, praising his contribution and personal engagement.

Mockobee also spent time with the young athletes, signing autographs and taking photos. Reflecting on his roots, he told Sam King of the Journal & Courier, “I grew up in this youth league — my dad was actually the league president. Every Saturday was football from sunrise to sunset. That’s how I fell in love with the game.”
