The New York Giants are looking to move forward after a difficult 3-14 season, which featured one of the league’s weakest offenses. They finished 30th in total yards per game (294.8) and 31st in points per game (16.1)—a scoring average lower than that of Mikal Bridges, who posted 17.6 points per game for the Knicks this past season despite being their fourth option.

To address those struggles, the Giants made some notable offseason moves, including signing quarterback Russell Wilson to a one-year, $10.5 million deal and selecting Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart with the 25th overall pick in the NFL Draft.

More offensive reinforcements could still be on the way. Alex Kay of Bleacher Report identified veteran wide receiver Keenan Allen as a strong fit for the Giants, suggesting he could be a valuable weapon regardless of whether Wilson or Dart is under center.

“Keenan Allen fits the bill as a proven receiver with a long track record of production. Whether he builds chemistry with Wilson or becomes a reliable option for the rookie Dart, Allen could play a significant role as the team’s No. 2 target behind Malik Nabers,” Kay wrote.

Allen, a six-time Pro Bowler who recently turned 33, is coming off a modest season with the Bears—recording 70 catches for 744 yards and seven touchdowns. However, in 2022, he posted 108 receptions for 1,243 yards and the same touchdown total. Over his 12-year NFL career, Allen has topped 1,000 receiving yards in six seasons and totaled 66 touchdowns, earning more than $133 million in the process.

Despite his résumé, Allen’s price tag wouldn’t be steep—Spotrac projects his market value at $11.1 million. He would represent an immediate upgrade over Wan’Dale Robinson, who was the Giants’ second-leading receiver last year with 699 yards and three scores on 93 catches, while averaging just 7.5 yards per reception on 140 targets.
