Buffalo Reach-Out Message To Keenan Allen Comes From Bills Mafia Favorite

Keenan Allen is still a free agent, and one former Buffalo Bills player believes he’d be a strong addition in Western New York.

The Bills have been aggressive this offseason in strengthening their receiving corps for the 2025 campaign, signing Joshua Palmer, Laviska Shenault, and Elijah Moore.

Could they make one more move?

That’s what former Bills wideout Stevie Johnson suggested earlier this year, advocating for a veteran presence. In a February post on social media, Johnson addressed Allen directly:

“Slay @Keenan13Allen, your presence with this team will help @JoshAllenQB elevate even more—by having the Peace of Mind knowing—he doesn’t always have to ‘throw a guy open.’ He’ll create space for you, and would’ve alerted the safety lining up directly over his DB…🃏 Go Bills.”

With Allen still unsigned and his market value likely lower than it was earlier in the offseason, the possibility of Buffalo pursuing him is more realistic—especially if they’re looking to fine-tune a roster built to contend for a Super Bowl.

But is Allen really the missing piece?

Over 12 seasons with the Chargers and Bears, Allen has been a Pro Bowl-level receiver, totaling 974 catches, more than 11,000 yards, and 66 touchdowns. He remains a reliable target for teams in need of receiver help.

Buffalo, however, doesn’t exactly fit that mold. Adding another veteran to the mix could create more challenges than solutions for the offense and their MVP-caliber quarterback.

So while Johnson may believe a veteran addition like Allen would benefit the team, it might not be the most practical move at this point.
