Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and actress Hailee Steinfeld are rumored to be tying the knot this month, but the teammate who initially sparked the speculation is now walking back his comments.
Back in March, Bills offensive lineman Dion Dawkins told the NFL Network’s Good Morning Football that Allen and Steinfeld were set to marry on May 31. When asked if he had any weddings to attend soon, Dawkins confidently replied, “Josh Allen is one of those guys and he sealed that deal. And soon to come. May 31. It’s happening.”
However, Dawkins recently appeared to backtrack during an interview on The Rich Eisen Show. When Eisen asked if he’d be attending Allen’s wedding, Dawkins responded with surprise:
“Is that coming up? I ain’t know nothing about that. I have no idea what’s going on. We’re all here in Buffalo, working out. I’ll give those guys a Facetime call and see how everything is going, but I have no idea. I have no idea.”

He added with a laugh, “I’m in the fog. I am currently in Orchard Park, and I’m focused on Hallmark, and I’m focused on eating a nice batch of wings today.”
Although Dawkins didn’t confirm any wedding plans or whether he’d be attending, he did mention what his gift to Allen would be: keeping him protected on the field.
“Josh can walk down the aisle in one piece, and be happy that he’s walking down the aisle with all fingers and all toes,” he joked.
What We Know About Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld’s Wedding

As of now, there’s no confirmed date for Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld’s wedding, but sources say the couple doesn’t plan to stay engaged for long. The pair, who got engaged in November 2024, have kept most details private, though insiders have hinted that wedding planning is already in motion.
“They don’t want a long engagement, and the wedding planning is already underway,” a source told Us Weekly in March. “Hailee is very excited about the planning process, and now that Josh is done with the season, she hopes they can have more time to make decisions together.”
The source added that due to their busy schedules, the couple has limited windows to get married and are actively working out the logistics, including scouting locations. “It will be a very intimate but extravagant event,” the insider noted.
In addition to planning their big day, Allen and Steinfeld are reportedly looking forward to their future as a family. “They both are excited about starting a family and want that in the next few years,” the source said. “They both share the same values when it comes to parenting and having kids.”
