Speaking to reporters before the Buffalo Bills began Organized Team Activities on Tuesday, head coach Sean McDermott claimed the team didn’t have a depth chart going into the workouts. That statement, naturally, is hard to take seriously—they clearly need to have an idea of who’s lining up with each unit to start.

That said, McDermott did confirm one starter: Josh Allen will begin practice with the first-team offense.

Ahead of the Buffalo Bills’ Organized Team Activities on Tuesday, head coach Sean McDermott told reporters that the team didn’t have a depth chart in place for the start of on-field work. A claim like that is a bit hard to believe—they obviously need to have some structure for who’s lining up where.

Still, McDermott did reveal one piece of the lineup: Josh Allen will open practice with the first-team offense.

And for those needing a glimpse of football in May, here’s a clip of Allen in shorts and a helmet during today’s session. He showed up and participated, even with his wedding reportedly scheduled for this weekend.

Looks like Coach McDermott’s got a sense of humor.
