Mack Hollins Regrets Leaving Bills: “I Want to Come Back”

Buffalo, NY – June 5, 2025

Veteran wide receiver Mack Hollins is having second thoughts about a major career decision—leaving the Buffalo Bills.

In a candid interview earlier this week, Hollins admitted that walking away from Buffalo may have been the biggest mistake of his professional career. Now, after experiencing a different team environment, the outspoken receiver is hoping for a second chance with the Bills.

“My biggest regret is leaving Buffalo,” Hollins said. “Here, there’s no real team spirit or discipline. They don’t even fine guys for showing up late or skipping practice just because it’s sunny. I never saw that kind of thing with the Bills.”

Sources close to Hollins say he has quietly reached out to members of the Bills front office expressing his desire to return. While no formal talks have taken place, the idea of bringing back the versatile wideout has reportedly sparked some internal discussion within Buffalo’s coaching staff.

During his time in Buffalo, Hollins was known not just for his toughness and special teams prowess, but also for his leadership and work ethic. Bills head coach Sean McDermott once praised him as “the kind of guy every locker room needs.”

Hollins’ departure was largely viewed as a business decision, with the receiver looking for a bigger role and better contract elsewhere. But it appears the grass hasn’t been greener.

“The culture in Buffalo is different. It’s about accountability and brotherhood. I miss that,” Hollins added. “If I could go back, I would. I want to be part of that again.”

As the Bills continue to look for depth at wide receiver heading into training camp, don’t be surprised if Hollins finds his way back to Orchard Park—where his heart clearly still resides.
