The Los Angeles Rams have bounced back quickly after their disappointing 5-12 finish in 2022, which came just a year after winning the Super Bowl.
They’ve reached the playoffs and recorded 10-win seasons in each of the past two years. Now, with the arrival of six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Davante Adams and a group of emerging young players, the team has big expectations for the upcoming season.
Adams may prove to be an upgrade over the departing Cooper Kupp, and his presence is already being felt in the locker room. Fellow wideout Puka Nacua noted, “The positive impact has already been felt from Davante.”

Adams responded on Instagram with a story praising Nacua, writing: “Special player… better dude.”
Adams rose to stardom with the Green Bay Packers from 2014 to 2021, becoming Aaron Rodgers’ go-to target after being drafted in the second round out of Fresno State. He was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022, where he continued to put up impressive numbers despite the team’s struggles.

Midway through last season, Adams was traded to the New York Jets, reuniting with Rodgers. Even though the Jets finished 5-12, he still managed to haul in 85 receptions for 1,063 yards and eight touchdowns.
Now 32, Adams joins a Rams team that believes he can still perform at a high level. If he does, he could be a game-changing piece in helping the Rams emerge as a legitimate sleeper contender in a competitive NFC.
