The Detroit Tigers are set to enter the 2025 MLB All-Star break as one of the league’s top teams, riding a strong run that includes back-to-back wins over the Tampa Bay Rays at Comerica Park.
Their impressive first-half performance has earned them four All-Star selections for the July 15 game in Atlanta—three starters and ace pitcher Tarik Skubal.
On Tuesday, the Tigers added to the excitement by revealing the new official cap that their All-Stars will wear during the game.
“Here is a look at the on-field hat the Tigers All-Star players will be wearing in next week’s All-Star Game,” tweeted WXYZ-Detroit’s Brad Galli. He added that New Era describes the cap as a “split panel 59FIFTY fitted,” featuring a retro design.
Leading the group of Tigers All-Stars is outfielder Riley Greene, who’s batting .282 with 22 home runs and 72 RBIs. He’ll be joined by shortstop Javier Báez, a strong Comeback Player of the Year candidate hitting .276, and second baseman Gleyber Torres, who’s posting a .275 average with nine home runs.
Skubal, meanwhile, leads the American League with a 2.02 ERA, just behind Paul Skenes of the Pirates for the MLB lead.
