One of the world’s top hitters is Juan Soto.

Additionally, he has experienced one of the more unusual paths taken by a slugger in his peak in MLB history. Because of it, he was able to set a record for the New York Mets on Saturday that has never been achieved in Major League Baseball.

Soto had hit 35 home runs this season until his second one soared out of the ballpark on Saturday.

And with those 35, he has now hit more than 35 home runs for three different clubs in three straight seasons.

That’s the first time it’s ever happened, Sarah Langs of MLB Network said.

Soto, 26, is already a member of four Major League Baseball teams.

In 2023, he scored 35 home runs while playing for the San Diego Padres.

Soto hit 41 deep runs with the New York Yankees in 2024.

As of 2025, the Mets have 35 and counting.

In 2019, Soto hit 34 home runs, the most in his five years with the Nationals.

Over his career, he has hit 236 home homers.

Soto has power in every field and the sharpest eye in baseball. He signed a record contract with the Mets that would keep him in Queens for the next ten and a half years.

And Soto’s choice to join the Mets after leaving the Yankees has given him the opportunity to make more MLB history. Most likely, it won’t be his last.
