BREAKING: BUFFALO BILLS COMFIRMS RELEASE FOR ANOTHER TOP RB
The Buffalo Bills announced on Tuesday that they have released running back. He, who was designated to return from the injured reserve list on October 9, had been practicing with the team over the past three weeks. However, with his 21-day practice period ending, the Bills were required to either add him to the active roster or release him. By choosing to release Evans, the Bills now have the option to re-sign him to their practice squad if he remains available and does not sign with another team.
Evans, originally drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, joined the Bills in 2023. He was initially cut during the preseason but spent some time on the Miami Dolphins’ practice squad and the Chicago Bears’ active roster in the previous season. After the season concluded, the Bills signed Evans to a futures contract in hopes of further developing his role within the team.
Despite his efforts, Evans has not participated in any games during the 2024 season so far.
