Just a week after withdrawing his commitment to NC State, Chambers High School (N.C.) three-star wide receiver has announced his pledge to the Kansas State Wildcats.

Concepcion, the younger brother of NC State sophomore receiver and ACC Rookie of the Year KC Concepcion, made his decision following a weekend visit to Kansas State. During his trip, he attended the Wildcats’ dominant 41-15 victory over Cincinnati and shared news of his commitment on Sunday.

Kansas State officially extended its offer on Monday, less than 24 hours after Concepcion’s decommitment from the Wolfpack.

Standing at 5-foot-9 and 175 pounds, the speedy wideout initially committed to Dave Doeren’s staff in June. He is ranked No. 1,460 overall, No. 201 among wide receivers, and No. 33 in North Carolina for the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports Composite.

As for NC State, the program currently holds 18 verbal commitments ahead of the early signing period on December 4. Their 2025 recruiting class ranks 49th nationally and 11th in the ACC, per 247Sports.

While NC State’s class isn’t a standout, it outpaces their rival UNC, whose 2025 recruiting efforts have stumbled to 10 commitments, placing them 78th nationally and 17th in the conference.
