A San Antonio native, Zeno began his career at Baylor before transferring to UAB in 2022. He was the Blazers’ primary starter in 2023 — passing for 3,126 yards and 20 touchdowns — and started the first four games in 2024 before suffering a season-ending injury to his non-throwing shoulder on Sept. 28 vs. Navy. UAB installed Florida transfer Jalen Kitna at quarterback following Zeno’s injury. Kitna — who is set to be a senior in 2025 — passed for 2,209 yards with 17 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in eight games for the Blazers, who finished 3-9. In 30 games over six seasons at Baylor and UAB, Zeno has passed for 4,948 yards and 32 touchdowns with 18 interceptions.

Texas A&M went 8-4 during the regular season, with sophomore Conner Weigman and freshman Marcel Reed splitting time at quarterback.
