Report: St. Louis CITY SC Rising Star Called Up to U.S. U-17 Men’s Youth National Team Camp
St. Louis CITY SC’s homegrown talent, Caden Glover, has been selected for the latest U.S. U-17 MYNT camp.
Glover will join the team’s training in West Palm Beach, Florida, from March 10 to March 15. Hailing from Columbia, Illinois, Glover has now received call-ups for the USYNT at the U-17, U-16, and U-15 levels.
Having signed as St. Louis CITY SC’s first homegrown player last year, Glover made his professional debut with St Louis CITY2 against North Texas SC, entering as a substitute and playing for 22 minutes.
Glover made history as the first player born in 2007 to debut in MLS, appearing in St. Louis’ 1-0 loss to Chicago on May 13. He scored his inaugural professional goal for St Louis CITY2 against Sporting KC II on May 21 and added a second against Tacoma Defiance in a 2-0 victory.
Throughout the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro season, Glover showcased his skills with seven goals and one assist in 20 appearances.
