Oregon’s 2025 recruiting class has secured verbal commitments from two standout wide receivers, Dallas Wilson and Adrian Wilson, both recognized as top talents nationwide. Despite these commitments, Junior Adams and the coaching staff at Eugene are actively pursuing high-caliber prospects. Recently, Dakorien Moore, a wide receiver from Duncanville, Texas, who had previously committed to LSU, revealed Oregon as one of his top four choices, alongside Texas, Ohio State, and LSU, as per a report by Mike Roach of 247Sports.

Roach also stated that Moore has decided to limit communication with schools not included in his newly announced top group. Standing at 5-foot-11 and weighing 175 pounds, Moore has been committed to LSU and Coach Brian Kelly since August. Notably, he is among three LSU commitments in the 2025 cycle ranked at the top of their respective positions, alongside QB Bryce Underwood and RB Harlem Berry. Oregon has consistently engaged with Moore, even hosting him for a campus visit earlier this year during one of their junior day weekends.

RANKINGS RUNDOWN FOR DAKORIEN MOORE

247: No. 4 nationally, No. 1 WR, No. 2 in TX Rivals: No. 4 nationally, No. 1 WR, No. 1 in TX On3: No. 3 nationally, No. 1 WR, No. 1 in TX

During the trip, head coach Dan Lanning made it obvious to the Texas star that he is a top focus for the Ducks. “Dan Lanning has expressed to me how much Oregon means to him and stuff like that since he got there,” Moore said after the trip. He’s rebuilding a lot down there, and I know he’s not doing it for free.

So I have a strong feeling that’s where he wants to be, and given how hard he’s recruiting me, I know he wants me to join him. To be part of the path so that we can win the championship.” Moore is undoubtedly a recruit Oregon fans should keep an eye on as spring recruiting trips begin, and I expect them to receive an official visit from the outstanding route runner before his recruitment concludes.
